Finding love again! Jana Kramer is taking things slow with soccer coach Allan Russellbut is enjoying the pair’s connection so far.

“I don’t know if this is my forever person. … But, like, I’m not going to push away love just because I’ve been hurt before. I’m going to embrace it,” the One Tree Hill alum said during a January 2023 episode of her “Whine Down” podcast, revealing she has been dating a mystery man for several weeks after connecting through Instagram. “I’m going to have fun. And if it doesn’t work out, well, you know what? I’m gonna learn a lot of lessons. And I had a lot of fun along the way.”

She added at the time: “When I was on that app, I was like, ‘No, they live in a different country, no, no, no.’ And, you know, even with him, I said, ‘No … this is silly. I’m a mom with two kids and I live in Nashville, like, how would this even work?’ And something about him, you know, I was like, ‘OK, well, let me just see, what does the conversation hurt, right?’ This just feels different.”

Kramer’s romance with the former North Carolina FC player, which she publicly debuted via Instagram later that month, comes on the heels of a series of brief relationships with Jay Cutler and Ian Schinelliin 2022.

“I’m just enjoying where it’s at right now and I’m enjoying feeling this way,” she gushed during her podcast episode at the time of the Norwich City FC coach. “We’re trying not to go more than three weeks without seeing each other. … It just feels really nice, and I don’t want to put too much pressure on it and I just want to enjoy it.”

Kramer is based in Tennessee — where she resides with children Jolie and Jace, whom she coparents with ex-husbandMike Caussin — while her beau lives in England. Amid their relationship, she has frequently traveled overseas to visit Russell.

“Game winning throw 🙌. Trying hard not to gloat too bad 😂,” the “I Got the Boy” songstress wrote via Instagram Story on February 3, 2023, sharing footage from the pair’s date night at a local British pub as they played a round of darts. “Second round winner: Allan. Game 3: I won. And apparently he ‘let me win.’”

January 2023

During the January 9 episode of her podcast, the Soccer Mom Madam star revealed that she is not single and is seeing a “sweetheart” man who lives in England.

“It’s gonna be tough. I’ve never done long-distance,” Kramer added at the time without disclosing her man’s identity. “But again, I’m just enjoying being happy. And it’s all good. There’s going to be lessons learned along the way. I’ll learn things whether it works out or whether it doesn’t. And I think that’s the piece that I know either way, like, I’m OK. … I’ll never get into a situation again where I don’t trust someone because I do not like who I become. Something is just very different about this relationship that I have zero worries or fears. And if something was to happen, again, I’m like, ‘Alright, like, thanks for showing me who you are and I’m out.’”

Several weeks later, Kramer soft-launched their relationship by posting a screenshot from a FaceTime date. While the “Story” signer beamed in front of a sunset, Russell’s face was obscured by an emoji.

"Back where it all started… Also this is so us… trying to take a photo 😂,” Kramer wrote via Instagram, tagging the Roam Food cofounder’s profile on their social media debut.

The Steppin’ Into the Holidays star proclaimed that she “smoked” Russell in their last round of darts.

After the pair’s pub night out, they returned home to discover a spider in the bathroom. Russell lept into action to remove the creature, earning Kramer’s praise.

“What a hero,” she gushed via Instagram Story. “He grabbed it with his bare hands, and YES, I ran away like the Blair Witch Project.”

Russell accompanied the “Voice” songstress on her “Whine Down” podcast tour stop in Philadelphia. After Kramer’s public appearance, the couple snapped a few snaps in front of the city’s famed monuments — including the Rocky steps.

Kramer gushed over her new beau in a sweet post she shared via her Instagram Story. "Appreciation post for @superiorstriker," she wrote on top of a photo of Russell. "Grateful for this man ... His love is unlike anything I've ever felt."

Later that month, Kramer exclusively told Us that Russell has met both her children and Caussin. “Everyone just gets along really well and that's a really, it's a really beautiful thing,” she explained. “Like, I sat back one time and just kind of watched … I’m like, OK, things can turn around and it can be beautiful.”

The striker coach popped the question to Kramer during a “beautiful” evening walk with her two kids in front of her new house.

“He said my name and I [stood up] and he got down on one knee and then Jolie just started jumping up and down. It was the cutest thing ever,” the singer gushed on her “Whine Down” podcast. “Like, she knew what was happening [before he said anything]. She was like, ‘You’re getting married!’ And then, I kind of blacked out at that point.”
